This is Brighton.

He just earned his Bear in Cub Scouts.
Can you spot what's missing in this picture?
That's right.
Patches? We don't need no stinking patches.
Brighton, I'm sorry I haven't ironed the patches onto your shirt.
I promise I'll pull out the iron and get those patches on there ...
as soon as I remember where I put them...
Help! Does anyone know where they went?

I'm sure he will never forgive you. ;)
you better hunt them down before he leaves cub scouts. or he might never forgive you!
Wahoo! I just found the missing patches and I'm getting ready to sew them onto the shirt. Yay me!
Phew, good thing you found them. Were they in the washing machine, courtest of Keelie? :o)
So glad I am not the only one. My poor kids go patchless much too much to be children of a seamstress...I don't know how many times I had to sneak down to the scout shop and purchase another patch for the ones I lost.
So do you have to sew them on, or do they just iron on? Because if it involves sewing, my children's patches may never be put on their shirts!
My boys had the same problem. I didn't have their patches on for a while. Congrats to him.
hahahahaha, my husband is the scout master in our ward. we have little blue cards lying around everywhere!!!
I was terrible about those patches...It seems like I was always having a marathon patch-sewing experience right before the big events.
In the end, I started glueing them with a glue gun. Don't tell. "/
The best thing that has been invented so far is the sticky pattern that I got at the scouting store. It is like the vinyl lettering - you just peel off the one side, stick the patch on & then pull the patch & the sticky stuff up. Push it onto the cub scout shirt & wham, bam thank you ma'am! Piece of CAKE!! LOVE IT! They even last through loads and loads of washes! NO MORE SEWING THE patches on! Whew! Just another thing to do! Lisa
I told you they were behind the couch.
I'm coming over from Blog Stalkers Unite, asking for your help. I am in the running for a round trip airfare paid ticket to Connecticut, to meet a friend I became acquainted with through blogging. She is a super fun person and is holding this contest. I entered a funny story titled "Grapejuice Floaties, Now Marry Me." The person whose story receives the most votes will win a trip to meet this generous lady, whom I'm hoping to meet. The voting ends tonight I believe. I am ahead for now but there is a story coming up from behind out of nowhere and I would so, so, appreciate your help. Her blog is www.becausemomsaidso.blogspopt.com and the voting is on the sidebar on the right. "Grapejuice, Floaties" Just go there and cast a vote for me, please. Thanks so much-you're awesome! ♥
I just wanted to tell you that I liked your short story (the to be continued one...) from your other site!
When you get it done, can you show me how???
